The Orange County Mud Run is part of the Eco Mud Run Tour. The Eco Mud Run tour is a national mud run tour based in the Mud Run capital of the world,
Southern California. The Orange County Mud Run (also known as the OC Mud Run) in the City of Irvine, Orange County, CA. in July 2009 was the
largest mud run in the USA to date with over 8000 participants. The goal of the Eco Mud Run Tour is to provide a great experience for current mud runners
and future mud runners with an emphasis on the importance of environmental awareness. The Eco Mud Run Tour plans on expanding the tour to multiple cities
throughout California and the entire Southwest in 2010.
